Quick and easy to install, the surface mounted fire and smoke intumescent seal has a self-adhesive backing which enables it to stick around the inside of the door frame. Supplied with 2 x Fire Door Keep Shut signs.
Developed specifically for situations where an existing fire door is being upgraded to comply with modern fire regulations, this seal has a 30-minute fire rating and has been tested to British Standard 476-22:1987.
This works like any ordinary fire and smoke intumescent seal, expanding in intense heat to block the small gap between the door and frame. This is critical in helping to contain fire and smoke to prevent it spreading – reducing risk to lives and limiting damage.

This adhesive strip is also suitable for window insulation and as a door draught excluder for 3-5mm gaps. It works as an effective wind blocker and garage door draught excluder.
Intumescent seal comes with a colour coded brush which is used as a protection against draughts, insect, dust, smoke, cold and heat
